DER FREISCHUTZ Carl Maria von Weber Romantic Opera in 3 Akten (1821) 3 days / 2 nights HALF BOARD

«Der Freischütz» is a German romantic opera composed by Carl Maria von Weber. The plot follows a young hunter named Max, who faces a series of challenges to win the hand of his beloved, Agathe. To prove his skill as a hunter, Max is forced to participate in a shooting trial, but his lack of experience makes him fear for his success. In his desperation, he turns to a dark character named Kaspar, who offers him magic bullets that guarantee success in hunting. However, these bullets are linked to the devil, and Max becomes involved in an infernal pact that threatens to destroy him. The opera explores themes of love, destiny, and the struggle between good and evil. With its dramatic music and exciting plot, «Der Freischütz» is a cornerstone of the 19th-century German opera repertoire.
